Wow.

Keep on...
;-)nashworldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18185285175525104680noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4956989639073843954.post-19274476026512313302008-11-11T19:57:00.000-05:002008-11-11T19:57:00.000-05:00Thanks for the kind words.I just poked around your...Thanks for the kind words.

I just poked around your blog and it sounds like you're still having some fun, enough I want to poke around some more.

I'm still a bit of a Luddite in these parts; your site makes me feel like a piker. It still takes me a few minutes just to get my arms around an "a" tag and you're tossing out all kinds of interesting tools (I need to go visit bitstrips in between grading papers).

You'll be hearing more from me back in your neighborhood.doylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12901661320505882735noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4956989639073843954.post-9431990912716532012008-11-11T19:21:00.000-05:002008-11-11T19:21:00.000-05:00I would just like to say... your blog is inspirin...I would just like to say... your blog is inspiring to me.

I have been here before, but it must have been a busy time because I didn't poke the RSS button to bring your ideas to me in case I forgot. Apparently, I got lucky enough to find this again.

I am participating in Steve Dembo's challenge to become a better blogger in 30 days. Today's "assignment" was a boring one I had thought. However, running across this little spot on the web made me want to step up to that one for certain.

As a biology teacher since 1991, I must say that reading your posts makes me feel like it is "ok" to connect the natural sciences tot he rest of the planet and the human experience. Your posts are a breath of fresh air. I truly mean it when I say that your poetic style instantly reminded me of myself back when I used to have a bit more fun. So thanks. I needed the last half hour spent here reading.

Though I have been an instructional coach now for the past three years, I still teach a course in marine biology: http://stjoeh2o.ning.com and one in dual-credit biology: http://mwsu-bio101.ning.com

I add a few things to connect in the spirit of the challenge. I now see what a cool challenge it was, as I possibly wouldn't have left a comment even today. Having that in the back of my mind caused me to speak up.

In fact, now that I think of it, there is a little embedded presentation linked to a post about Slideshare on my blog that you might appreciate. (it is a tie between symbiotic relationships & Frost's poem "Design") Knee deep in the middle of a tech integration mission at my school, I have rarely had the time to connect biology/writing/& the web.

Reading your stuff makes me want to get back into that and play around. Thanks so much,

Seannashworldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18185285175525104680noreply@blogger.com
